Did you know carpets accumulate around 1mm of dead skin ever year, and it’s in deeper than regular vacuuming can reach? And dust mites that cause asthma and airborne allergies also live in carpets.
Regular vacuuming of your business is important to keep on top of every day surface dirt and grim. Just as we wash our clothes to keep them looking great and smelling fresh, so should we steam clean our carpets and furniture.
When it comes to dirt, we can only see and remove just the surface layer. Around 85% of the dirt is hidden within the fibres of our carpet, with a thorough steam clean the only solution.
Having your carpet professionally cleaned helps to:
Most hard floor surfaces are porous so after a while, no matter how well or regularly they are cleaned, the surface will absorb a certain amount of dirt which cannot be removed with regular mopping. Surfaces become dull and dirty. Most manufacturers recommend at least annual maintenance on the floor which goes beyond every day cleaning.
Most grades of vinyl have a layer of polish on them – when this layer wears away the surface will become dull and all the dirt will stick and be absorbed into the floor. That’s when you need to resurface the floor. We cut back the old polish and lay new polish to give it that brand new shine again.
Tiles also can be very porous and absorb the dirt in the same manner. Our techniques include scrubbing the floor to remove the ingrained dirt and grime and bring them back to that factory look. Grout also tends to become dirty, so this process can also help with that.
For floors that do not require stripping and resealing, a regular buff with our high-tech buffing machines will do the trick. All of these processes will not only improve the look of the floor, they will also vastly extend the life of the floor.
